Experiencing personal growth and self-awareness I’ve been described as “resilient, passionate, empathic.” By the age of 18 years old, I was a mother of twin girls who were the light of my life, but I knew then I had to provide for them. I triumphed over many obstacles as a young mother working full-time, wife by the age of 20, and going to school to further my education. I started my career in the medical field as a Certified Nurse Assistant when I was just 19 years old. About a year later I had become a Certified Medical Assistant and later completed my Bachelor of Arts in Health & Human Services.
As a minority woman working in the healthcare field now over 17 years both private and public, I’ve had the opportunity to provide the best care to many patients over the years. I found my passion working in Women Services OB/GYN for over 6.5 years, which has given me the experience necessary to understand the most intimate needs of a women’s body. Furthering my knowledge in holistic studies I’ve found with caring for the physical body you have to treat the whole body mind and soul. Holistically they are all connected, and one can’t function well without the other.
The formation of “Soul Pleasure” was founded after having 3 children and making the decision to do something special for me. I underwent a cosmetic procedure and throughout the process, I had many questions and I found myself wanting someone to support me along the journey. I chose to create a place for women to receive the best care for their physical body but take it a step further to make sure their mind and soul is at peace when on the road to recovery. Understanding your individual needs is my mission and providing a holistic experience while in my care is the goal!
